The Highland Spin marquee buzzed all day with a large crowd gathering to watch the teams, an M/C kept them informed with progress. In the Highland Spin marquee spectators also get up close and personal with sheep as they are shorn, get sample of wool and try their hand at spinning. For competitors and spectators alike the Highland Spin is an exciting competition.

New for 2018 – head to the Highland Spin marquee for the Bayleys Highland Auction. This will be a for a fun, fast-paced auction with Bayley’s auctioneer Conor Patton. There are three great items to go under the hammer, which will be on display prior to the auction for potential bidders to browse and make their selection.  All proceeds go towards the new Hororata Community Centre fund.  The auction will be held at 1pm.
