    Do you have Eftpos facilities at the event?

    A:

    We do have Eftpos at the Gate, no credit cards accepted. You can get cash out once in the venue at the admin office, however we recommend you bring some cash with you. The Bar is cash only.

  • Q:

    What time do gates open?

    A:

    Gates open at 7.30am for competitors and 9am for the general public. Gates close approximately 4.30pm after the closing ceremony. There is heaps of action from 9am right up to 4.30pm.

    Can we bring our dogs?

    A:

    No, sorry.

  • Q:

    Can we bring food and drink in?

    A:

    There are many food options at the Games at affordable prices. Most of the food outlets are run by Community Groups as fundraisers.  The venue is a licenced Bar serving alcoholic beverages, no BYO alcohol please.

  • Q:

    Does the event continue if there is wet weather?

    A:

    Yes! Being a true Scottish event it is held wet or fine and there will still be plenty to do and see.

  • Q:

    Is there a babies area?

    A:

    Yes we have a area where parents can feed and change their babies.

  • Q:

    Do you have disabled facilities available?

    A:

    We have disabled parking and disabled toilets available.

  • Q:

    Can we come and stay in our Motorhome on-site?

    A:

    We welcome certified self-contained vehicles on site from 12 pm Friday 6th of November and depart by 5 pm Monday 9th of November. . Enter through Gate C. A donation is appreciated. Please note there will be no access to event toilets until 9 am Saturday and they will be close 5 pm Saturday night. Please note we have written permission from the Selwyn District Council to allow this and they have stipulated vehicles must be certified self-contained, camping in tents is not permitted.  For more details visit the NZ Motorhome and Caravan Association website CLICK HERE
